2006 WSOP Winner Jamie Gold
Jamie Gold took the chip lead on Day 4 and never let go of it. In an amazingly solid manner the previously unknown Californian player completely dominated the tables, knocked out seven of the final table players, and went on to win an unfathomable $12 million without ever being seriously challenged. On the last hand, Paul Wasicka limped in with T-T against Gold’s Q-9 that hit a queen on the flop. Moral: Limping with T-T might cost you $6 million.
